At Body Gym Equipment, our great strength is giving a second life to commercial cardiovascular training devices so that they can continue to offer performance, safety, and durability at a fraction of the price of new. Each refurbished product goes through a rigorous process that combines technical expertise and quality control by our experienced technicians.
1. Sourcing of refurbished devices
The United States represents a major market for training equipment, and we regularly draw from it to procure high-quality cardiovascular devices. Whether it's fitness center renovations or business liquidations, we have developed over the years a vast network of partners and contacts. This expertise allows us to acquire commercial equipment from internationally renowned brands such as Precor, Keiser, Matrix, and Life Fitness. It is worth noting that we only purchase major brands to ensure consistency and quality in our refurbished products.
2. Reception and evaluation
It all starts with a thorough evaluation of the received machine. Our specialized technicians open the machine and check the general condition of the frame, electronic components, mechanical systems, and wear parts. This step allows for the identification of elements to be replaced or restored.
3. Disassembly and deep cleaning
The machine is then disassembled piece by piece at the designated areas requiring attention. Each important component is cleaned to remove dust, sweat, or usage residues. This cleaning not only gives the machine a like-new appearance but also extends its lifespan.
4. Replacement of wear parts
When technicians find that the condition of the parts is not optimal, the parts are replaced with new or equivalent original components. This approach ensures that each machine operates optimally while meeting our quality standards.
Example of parts that can be changed: Buttons, belts, cables, platforms (decks), various bearings, rollers, seats, pedals, handles, etc.
4. Repair and calibration
When mechanical or electronic components show failures, our technicians and our electromechanic carry out the necessary repairs. The machine is then recalibrated to ensure smooth, safe, and precise operation, whether for resistance, incline, display, or performance tracking.
5. Aesthetic finishing
Once the mechanical aspects are addressed, the machine receives an aesthetic refresh: touched-up or newly applied paint, repaired or replaced plastics, upholstery changed as needed. The goal is to deliver a product that will please you both visually and in your fitness endeavors.
6. Performance testing and final validation
Before being put up for sale, each machine undergoes a set of checks by our chief technician. We simulate workout sessions to verify the quality, durability, comfort, and safety of the machine. Only once these checks are successfully passed is the machine approved for resale.
At Body Gym Equipment, refurbishing does not simply mean "repairing". It is a complete process that transforms a used machine into a reliable product.
