The BGHS18 station from Gymnetic is a commercial-grade strength machine designed for the development of calf power and volume, with a particular focus on the gastrocnemius (the visible twin muscles on the surface). Unlike the seated version, the standing position allows for working the calves with the knees fully extended, which is the optimal position to recruit the upper and outer part of the muscle.
Thanks to its robust and high-density padded shoulder pads, it can support heavy loads while minimizing pressure on the trapezius and spine. Its non-slip and inclined foot platform provides a stable base for complete plantar flexion, allowing for a deep stretch of the fascia and maximum contraction at the peak of the movement.
